IBV® Valve System: Information for Patients and Doctors Outside the U.S.
Spiration’s minimally invasive IBV Valve System has received the CE Mark for treatment of diseased and damaged lung in Europe, a broad indication that includes the treatment of emphysema and prolonged air leaks. The company is in the process of conducting additional clinical research to gain further experience with the IBV Valve System in Europe prior to commercialization.
A European clinical study of the IBV Valve System has completed enrollment.
The IBV Valve System is currently an investigational device in Canada. Enrollment in the Pilot Clinical Study in Canada is closed.
